Dr. Bill Simons, Optometrist
Dr. Bill Simons purchased the optometric practice of Dr. Mike Coffey and began practicing at Montana Eyecare in August 1986 with Dr. Jim Wilkins and Dr. Tom Rasmussen.
He graduated from Carroll College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology, and completed his doctorate degree at Southern California College of Optometry in 1982. He began his optometric career practicing privately in Cut Bank and at the IHS in Browning, MT. Dr. Simons has been a past President of the Montana Optometric Association and the Great Western Council of Optometry. He has been named Optometrist of the Year and remains active in the profession he loves.
Dr. Bill Hasquet, Optometrist
Dr. Bill Hasquet purchased the optometric practice of Dr. Jim Wilkins and began practicing at Montana Eyecare in August 1998 with Dr. Bill Simons and Dr. Tom Rasmussen.
He graduated from Carroll College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Combined Sciences in 1993. Dr. Hasquet received his Doctorate Degree in Optometry in 1997 from Southern California College of Optometry. He has been a past President of the Montana Optometric Association and member of the American Optometric Association. He has been named Montana's Young Optometrist of the Year.
Dr. Marcus Kelley, Optometrist
Dr. Marcus Kelley, OD, was born and raised in Helena. He attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Dr. Kelley received his doctorate degree in optometry from Southern California College of Optometry in 2006. He joined Montana Eyecare in 2006 and has been a strong leader in his profession as a member of the American Optometric Association and is a past President and Trustee of the Montana Optometric Association. He was appointed to Montana State Board of Optometry by former Governor Steve Bullock in 2013 and completed his service in 2021.
Dr. Rob Simons, Optometrist
Dr. Rob Simons joined Montana Eyecare in August 2014. He graduated from Capital High School in 2004 and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Carroll College in 2009.
Upon graduation from Carroll College, Dr. Simons attended the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA and received his Doctorate Degree in Optometry in 2013. Dr. Simons continued his training by completing an Optometric Residency with an emphasis in ocular disease and primary care at Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton, AZ and is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Optometry.
Dr. Scott Amestoy, Optometrist
Dr. Scott Amestoy began practicing at Montana Eyecare in August of 2020.
He grew up in Malta, MT and received a bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology/Neuroscience and Ecology from Montana State University–Bozeman in 2010. Dr. Amestoy attended optometry school at Pacific University in Oregon, graduating with his Doctorate Degree in Optometry in 2014. Upon completion Dr. Amestoy has been working at a specialty clinic in Fairbanks Alaska, that specializes in disease diagnosis and treatment.
